Hoping for Funding...

We are grappling with our main roadblock: funding. We don't particularly want to be a donation-based organization (we took Professor Horn's lecture to heart) but since we are unable to sell our culinary creations, we're left with few options.

I've contacted several relevant student organizations on campus, including NU Eats, NU Nutrition and the Progressive Student Alliance to see if they would be interested in partnering with us financially, since student groups do have a budget to work with (I believe it is $500 a semester).

Maureen Timmons made it clear that, despite being a student-run non-profit initiative, we could not get any breaks in the cost of renting the Expo Kitchen. The $275/class will be a challenge for us. However, Maureen framed it a little differently, remarking how this project is actually quite cheap, considering that our classes will never cost over $500...
